Cirrova is now listed on the Microsoft commercial marketplace — still widely known as the Azure Marketplace — which means the platform can be purchased and billed directly through your existing Microsoft agreement.
That sounds like a plumbing change, and technically it is. But if you have ever tried to get a new SaaS vendor through procurement at a mid-market organisation, you already know it is the opposite of a small thing.
Why this matters more than a new "buy" button
The hardest part of adopting a cost management tool is rarely the tool. It is the six weeks between deciding you want it and being allowed to have it. New vendor forms. A security questionnaire. Legal review of somebody else's master agreement. A fresh payment method, a fresh invoice, a fresh line item that finance has to learn to recognise.
All of that is overhead spent on the act of buying, not on the problem you were trying to solve — which, in our case, is that nobody can fully explain last month's Azure bill.
Listing on the Marketplace removes most of it. Three things change:
1. It lands on your Azure invoice
Cirrova is billed through Microsoft, against the Enterprise Agreement or Microsoft Customer Agreement you already hold. No new supplier record, no new payment details, no separate invoice to reconcile. The cost of understanding your Azure spend now appears on the same statement as the Azure spend itself — a pleasing kind of symmetry, and genuinely easier to get approved.
2. Microsoft is already an approved vendor
For most organisations, vendor onboarding for Microsoft was completed years ago. Buying through the Marketplace means Cirrova arrives inside a relationship that has already been assessed, approved and budgeted for, rather than starting from a blank supplier form.
3. The contract is already written
Marketplace purchases run on the Microsoft Standard Contract, with a Cirrova amendment attached. Your legal team reviews a standardised document they have very likely seen before, plus a short amendment — instead of negotiating a bespoke agreement from scratch.
The terms that amendment points at are public, and have been for some time. Our Data Processing Addendum, Acceptable Use Policy and Service Availability statement all live on this site at stable URLs, exactly as they are incorporated. Nothing is held back for the negotiation.
What actually happens when you buy
Find Cirrova in the Marketplace, choose your plan, and complete the purchase through the Azure portal. Microsoft then hands you straight back to us to finish setting up: sign in with the same Microsoft account you purchased with, confirm the plan, name your organisation, and you are in.
From there it is the normal first-run path — connect a subscription, let the first snapshot run, and start looking at real numbers instead of a demo tenant. Our getting started guide walks through it end to end.
Same product, same prices
Nothing about Cirrova changes because of where you bought it. Core and Control are listed as standard plans on the Marketplace, at the same prices as buying direct and with exactly the same features. There is no "Marketplace edition", no feature held back, and no Marketplace surcharge.
Enterprise is not listed publicly, because at that size a plan is rarely an off-the-shelf purchase. It is still available through the Marketplace as a private offer — scoped and priced for your organisation, delivered on the same Azure invoice and under the same contract structure as the listed plans. Talk to us and we will put one together.
The Partner plan sits outside all of this. White labelling, a custom domain, reseller rights and dedicated or self-hosted deployment are not things a marketplace transaction can deliver, so that stays a direct conversation. If you are an MSP or reseller, start there instead.
And you do not have to commit to find out. The 14-day free trial is available through the Marketplace listing as well as directly from this site — same trial, same 14 days, no credit card either way. Starting it from the Marketplace has a small advantage: if you decide to keep Cirrova, the subscription simply continues on your Azure bill when the trial ends, with no second purchase to arrange.
What has not changed: how we treat your environment
Worth repeating, because a new purchase channel is a reasonable moment to ask the question again. Cirrova connects to Azure with the minimum permissions the job requires — Cost Management Reader, Reader and Monitoring Reader at subscription scope. All read-only. Cirrova cannot start, stop, resize or delete anything in your estate, and does not ask for the ability to.
Sign-in is email and password by default, with TOTP multi-factor authentication that organisation owners can enforce across every user. On Control and above you can configure Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on over OpenID Connect instead, which hands authentication back to your own identity provider — at which point Cirrova never sees those credentials at all. The full detail — data handling, tenant isolation, infrastructure, access controls — is on our security page.
Where to find us
Cirrova is on the Microsoft commercial marketplace now, and you can start the trial from the listing without spending anything. If you have Azure spend you cannot fully account for, that is the shortest path from here — and it ends where it should, with you looking at your own numbers and the guesswork taken out.
